
INTRODUCTION
1. Overview
The person credited with this unit standard will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the concept of motivating a team and the role of self and team members in the workplace. As a person in a supervisory position, he /she will be able to apply theories of motivation and group dynamics to the implementation of action plans to enhance and strengthen the team, while giving constructive, meaningful feedback and recognition.
2. Credit Value
Based on the section the credit weighting of ten credits will be obtained after the learner has successfully completed this section and is declared competent after the assessment process. This is inclusive of the Formative and Summative Assessments after
completing the learning experience.
3. The Scope of Motivate and Build a Team – After completion of this module, the learner will be able to:

2. Demonstrate and understanding of self and team members in a workplace.
3. Apply theories of motivation and group dynamics.
